About the Role
Our client in the Engineering and Industrial Services sector is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored technical solutions.
This role combines engineering knowledge with strong sales execution. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, technically sound, and confident in presenting solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and close new business opportunities to meet sales targets
• Drive revenue growth across assigned sectors and territories
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable technical solutions
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits
• Provide pre-sales technical support and product expertise
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate solution delivery
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ sales experience, with at least 2 years in engineering or technical sales
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship management skills
• Ability to simplify and present technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
